Is there any start-up fee for my materials?
Yes. There is a start-up fee of $195.00 USD. This will get you everything you need to get out and start showing the Marquis benefits. This includes 1000 business cards on nice card stock, full color, double sided. You will also receive your presentation booklets, and a credit card imprinter. Also included is training, email address, and a company code number which is how we track what you do and how you get paid!
How long until I start making money?
Immediately! Once you go through the training class, you should be ready to get your feet wet out in the field. You will be starting with people you know so don’t be nervous. Most of our Marketing Staff members make a sale within their first 3 appointments. After 3 appointments, you should have the process down and sky’s the limit. Remember, you are building your book of business for the future as well if you decide to become a RealtorŪ or Mortgage Broker with our program.
What hours do I work?
You will work whatever hours you want. Marquis does not require that you come into the office everyday for a certain number of hours. You are not paid by the hour; therefore, you should be setting appointments as much as you can. Our training program will show you what kind of schedule we recommend, but your income and your success is ultimately lies on your ability to use what we teach and apply it. You must currently have or be willing to learn time management skills to be a successful Marketing Staff member at Marquis.
If I am hired, do I get a discount on a Marquis Membership?
Yes! We feel it is extremely important for any Marketing Staff members to have the product their going to be selling. This adds credibility because it shows you feel so strongly and have so much confidence in our program, you became a member yourself. It is not a requirement to purchase, but strongly encouraged. The $195.00 USD start-up fee you pay can be deducted from the final price. Therefore you can become a member for only $300.00 USD. You do not receive commission on your own purchase.
How often am I paid?
Every two weeks!
