Can’t I just wait until I am ready to sell, buy, or refinance to purchase a membership?
That is our most common question. Of course you can wait as Marquis does not believe in the hard sell. However, our program is becoming very popular, and we must adjust our price accordingly. If every homeowner had our program, we would have too many members for our network to provide the level of personal service required. Therefore, Marquis will be raising prices as demand increases. So the answer is Yes you can wait, but the price may increase, or there may not be any other spots available in your area.

My house is paid off, I do not need any of your services, does a Marquis Membership still benefit me?
Yes. Your home will be registered by its address. Therefore even if you never use any of our benefits in your lifetime, your heirs are entitled to use your benefits for your property should they choose to sell or refinance. This will save your heirs a lot of money.

I have a friend who is a Realtor® or Mortgage Broker, can’t they give me the same deal?
They might be able to. However, we suggest purchasing a membership and then referring your friend to Marquis to apply to become an affiliate. This way Marquis can still watch over your friend and make sure nothing is hidden, especially when it comes to the mortgage. Because there is such trust already built, it may seem like you are getting a great deal. However, this is not always the case because even friends and family will charge to much and be unfair, and you just believe what they say because you trust they would give you the best possible deal. Now some of them will truly give you a great deal and take a huge pay-cut, but how do you know for sure? Sign up with Marquis and we will make sure of it. There are other matching services out there at no cost to me, how are you different?
You are absolutely right; there are other matching services out there. But we all know nothing in life is free. For instance, there are several companies built on the principle that Realtors® and Mortgage Brokers are competing for your business in the form of a bid. This sounds great for you right? Wrong! The way these companies make money since they are not charging you anything is through referral fees or they charge for the lead. Our research has found it common for these referral fees to be from $500 to $1000. Therefore, the Realtors® and Mortgage Brokers are bidding to charge lower and lower fees, and then having to give up a huge chunk of their already discounted fees. This results in hidden fees on the mortgage to make up for it, as well as the Realtors® cutting corners on marketing to cut their costs down. In the end, you do not save very much money. Those companies are not there to protect you, they are there to provide leads as that is how they make their money. Marquis does not receive any referral fees, we only make a small amount of money from your application and review fees. Therefore our affiliates do not have to give up a huge chunk of their reduced commission. We also provide these affiliates with extra income each month. Everyone wins!
